On his Instagram profile, Milan captain Mike Maignan made a post in which he thanked the fans for the support received this season and sent a message about the club’s future. Here are his words:
"Another year in which, unfortunately, our objectives were not achieved. Thanks to the Milan fans for your support throughout the year."
Maignan added:
"Joy and sadness are part of life for athletes and for the club’s supporters. Sooner or later, Milan will rise again."
