Rafael Leão’s words to SportTV were clear. After an incredibly difficult season, both on and off the pitch, AC Milan’s number 10 has decided that the time has come to leave the Rossoneri.
Here's what he said:
“I think I have given Milan everything I could give. It has been a club that helped me grow a lot, that supported me during difficult moments. And I am happy that I managed to write my name into the club’s history. Everyone has their dreams, their challenges, the things they desire, the goals they want to achieve. And I also want to try a new challenge in a new league. If that happens, I will be very happy and satisfied because I have done my duty at Milan.”
Spain, England, or Saudi Arabia? Leao, which is your preferred destination?
“Right now, the most important thing is the World Cup and helping the national team in any way I can. When the time comes, I will evaluate the best options to continue my career and keep competing at the highest levels of European football.”
