The renewal of Alessandro Longoni was a real dilemma for AC Milan’s youth sector. It has not materialised, and now the young goalkeeper, who is involved with the national youth teams, is leaving the Rossoneri on a free transfer.
Europe’s top clubs have been monitoring the 2008-born player for some time. Manchester City tried to sign him but to no avail: L’Équipe point out that he is under contract with the Rossoneri. The Italy U19 international is expected to sign a professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain, initially to play with the reserve/development squad ("Espoirs" group) and to take part in training sessions with the first team.
