SportMediaset: Taking stock of AC Milan’s situation in the race for the Champions League

The matches of the 37th matchday of Serie A gave two other important verdicts for the Champions League area. For the third consecutive year, Atalanta wins a place in the Europe of the big names , while Lazio says goodbye to race.

Ranking in hand, therefore, there are three teams that will compete until the last second for the two remaining places for the Champions League: Milan, Napoli and Juve.

At the moment the ranking says Milan 75, Juve 75 and Napoli 73 , but the Rossoneri and the Azzurri have yet to take the field for the 37th round.

MILAN - 75 points:

With a win against Cagliari (or a draw and with Napoli knocked out in Florence) the Rossoneri would be arithmetically in the Champions League. In the event of a defeat, on the other hand, an arrival on equal points (78) with Atalanta (already qualified) and Juve could be hypothesized. In this case the mini ranking would be: 7 Atalanta, 6 Milan and 4 Juventus. Or a finish on equal points (76) with Juve and Napoli: in this case Milan and Juve would go to the Champions League. As for the head-to-head matches, the Rossoneri's situation is as follows:
- An advantage over Juve (1-3 in Milan, 0-3 in Turin)
- An advantage over Napoli (victory 1-3 and knockout 0-1)
