Speaking on the "Buongiorno Calciomercato" podcast on Sky Sport Insider, Gianluca Di Marzio provided the following update on AC Milan, who have yet to choose both their management structure and head coach:
"AC Milan have not yet decided who will be the figure responsible for signings and sales. There is still no sporting director in place, and several names are being considered, such as Ozek, a 31-year-old former sporting director of Fenerbahçe and Bayer Leverkusen. He is very capable, and we will see whether he will be the one selected.
"As for the bench, another German is also appreciated: Matthias Jaissle, a coach who is currently evaluating whether or not to accept Milan's proposal.
"Ralf Rangnick, however, will not be arriving, as he did not accept the Rossoneri's offer. The German had asked for broad powers, but Milan evidently decided not to grant them. The Diavolo therefore want to continue having Zlatan Ibrahimović as their main point of reference.
"We will see whether next week proves to be the decisive one for Milan's decisions."
