After three weeks of casting, interviews, meetings and reflection, Milan have finally chosen their new head coach: Ruben Amorim will take over the Rossoneri bench from Max Allegri, who was dismissed on 25 May after failing to qualify for the Champions League, as relayed via those at Milan News today.
In the past few hours, the Portuguese coach reached an agreement with the Rossoneri on the basis of a two-year contract with an option for a further season, worth around €3.5 million plus bonuses linked to the team’s results.
The former Sporting Lisbon manager, expected in Milan in the coming hours for the signing and to begin getting to know his new home, is currently without a club after being dismissed by Manchester United last January.
