Rafael Leão has spoken for the second time in a week, again from Portugal but this time to Sport TV, and has once more confirmed his wish to leave AC Milan in the summer. This time, however, the Rossoneri number 10, who is preparing to take part in the World Cup with his national team, went further and also reflected on the season that has just ended, trying to explain what went wrong. His criticism of Massimiliano Allegri was not particularly subtle, accusing him of playing him out of position and of making him play while injured for four to five months.
This morning Tuttosport picked up on Leão’s words in its article about Milan. The headline reads:
"Leão finds the culprit. It is Allegri."
Then, in the subheading and intro, some parts of his interview are reported. First: “In the Premier League or La Liga my talent would be better used.” It is also reported: “Playing injured and out of position: the tactical system did not help me make a difference.” And a comment about Ibrahimović: “For me he has always been very important.”
