The last three weeks at Milan have not been characterised solely by the search for a new manager. One of the main topics in recent days has also been Rafael Leão, who on several occasions has reiterated his desire to leave the Rossoneri club this summer.
The arrival of Ruben Amorim, however, could change the situation, at least according to Francisco Sebe, a Portuguese journalist from 'A Bola', who was interviewed about the matter by the editorial team of Tuttomercatoweb.com.
His comments follow.
Francisco Sebe’s view on Rafael Leão following Amorim’s arrival at Milan:
“If, until a few days ago, Rafael Leão’s departure seemed almost inevitable, the arrival of Ruben Amorim at San Siro could lead to a different outcome. He is a manager with exceptional motivational abilities, capable of building very close relationships with his players and, in my opinion, that kind of attention is exactly what Rafael needs."
"Naturally, the player will have his own plans, but if he is willing to sit down and talk with Amorim, he could change his mind. On the other hand, after his public statements, Leão will also have to find a way to repair his relationship with the Milan supporters.”
