A piece of news that arrived yesterday afternoon but went somewhat under the radar because it came at exactly the same time as Ruben Amorim’s official appointment at Milan, is Lecce’s payment of the buy-out fee for Francesco Camarda.

The 'Salento' club paid 3 million euros to keep hold of the player who, however, can now be counter-bought by Milan between 18 and 20 June for 4 million euros: in total, therefore, the Rossoneri club would spend 1 million to get their talent back.

What will Francesco Camarda's future be like?

Sources at Corriere dello Sport confirms that Milan will exercise the counter-buy option for Francesco Camarda and adds some further considerations. The player will return to Milanello and will be available for the first part of pre-season training, and potentially also the tour, during which he will be closely assessed by the new coach Ruben Amorim.

In fact, and barring any major surprises, the young 2008-born striker is set for another loan spell in Serie A. There are already two clubs that have shown interest: Parma and Frosinone.
