AC Milan remain active in the transfer market after already completing two major signings for a combined fee of just over €100 million, including bonuses.
The Rossoneri have filled the centre-forward position with Gonçalo Ramos and strengthened their defence with Mario Gila, although further reinforcements at the back have not been ruled out.
At the same time, the club are assessing other areas of the squad, and for the full-back position the name of Guela Doué has resurfaced after he was already targeted last summer.
AC Milan open talks with Doué's representatives:
A year ago, AC Milan had already identified Guela Doué, the Strasbourg right-back from Côte d'Ivoire and the brother of Paris Saint-Germain's Désiré Doué, as a transfer target. This summer, his name has returned to prominence as the Rossoneri look to provide Amorim with reinforcements out wide, one of the key areas in the Portuguese coach's tactical system.
According to Tuttosport, Milan have already opened talks with Doué's representatives, and the player would be keen on a move to Milan. As usual, the main obstacles are the transfer fee, estimated at around €30–40 million, as well as the possible involvement of Inter, who could also lose Khalaili after Palestra.
