After completing two incoming signings (Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila), Milan are now also working on the departures market. Among those who could leave the club are certainly Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, both of whom had hoped to earn contract renewals with the club from Via Aldo Rossi, but are now instead close to being sold. This is reported by Tuttosport this morning, which explains that both the defender and the midfielder have attracted the attention of Coventry.
The club managed by Franck Lampard, the former Chelsea great, have set their sights on both Tomori and Loftus-Cheek. It should be noted, however, that both players were hoping for interest from a higher-level club, but so far no concrete offers have arrived at Casa Milan.
Coventry’s interest in the defender has been genuine for several weeks, and it remains to be seen whether the club will decide to end their wait and launch a bid for the Rossoneri centre-back. The English side have also requested information from the midfielder’s representatives.
