As for potential exits, Rafael Leão's future remains the main talking point. In recent weeks, the Portuguese forward has made it clear on several occasions that he wants to leave, believing his seven-year spell at Milan has come to an end.
Milan, Leão opens the door to a move to Turkey
It is no secret that Leão's dream is to play in either the Premier League or La Liga. However, with no offers arriving from clubs in those leagues, the Portuguese winger has reportedly become open to a move to Turkey, where both Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are keen on signing him, as relayed via Milannews.it.
Galatasaray, unlike their city rivals Fenerbahçe, have already secured qualification for next season's Champions League and are expected to submit an initial offer for Leão soon. However, the player is demanding a lucrative salary before agreeing to a move to Turkey.
Milan identify Mastantuono, Diaz and Nwaneri as possible Leão replacements
Until Leão's departure is finalised, Milan will not be able to make a decisive move for any attacking midfield targets. In the meantime, the Rossoneri are assessing several options, including Franco Mastantuono, the highly rated 2007-born Argentine playmaker whom Real Madrid are looking to send out on loan.
Mastantuono would prefer to return to River Plate, but Los Blancos, who left him out of today's squad for the friendly against Fiorentina, would rather see him gain experience in Italy, Spain or France. Alongside Milan, both Fiorentina and Roma are also interested in the young Argentine.
Milan are also considering other names, including Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri and Real Madrid's Brahim Díaz. A move for Díaz would mark a return to the Rossoneri, having already spent three seasons at the club on loan.
