Gerry Cardinale will soon be back in town, with the Rossoneri owner expected at Milanello tomorrow for a scheduled transfer summit with head coach Ruben Amorim and other members of the club. The agenda will focus on planning for the final two and a half weeks of the transfer window, with the Rossoneri still having plenty of work to do, particularly in terms of departures.
It was announced in recent hours and will take place tomorrow at Milanello: RedBird chief Gerry Cardinale will meet Ruben Amorim for a transfer market summit. Casa Milan executives will also attend the meeting, namely the men in charge of the Rossoneri's transfer operations. According to Tuttosport, Hendrik Almstadt and Bobby Gardiner will be present, along with Massimo Calvelli.
The objective is to establish a strategic plan through to 1 September, with the aim of trimming the squad through player sales while also looking to bring in some reinforcements.

Everything currently revolves around Milan's departures. On the one hand, the Rossoneri need to reduce the size of the squad, as Amorim himself pointed out after the defeat to Chelsea. On the other, moving on some surplus players could create room and opportunities to make further additions to the squad.
The pre-season friendlies have exposed some clear weaknesses, many of which are related to the players' characteristics and their suitability to Amorim's tactical system.
Among those potentially heading for the exit are Gimenez, who is being targeted by Porto, Fofana, who has several English and Spanish clubs interested in him, as well as Terracciano, Cissé, Ricci, Musah, Bondo and Estupiñán, to name just the most prominent cases.
