Ahead of Milan’s final pre-season friendly, scheduled for tomorrow against Manchester United in Poland, Ruben Amorim has left out the four players who are no longer part of the club’s technical project: Fikayo Tomori, David Odogu, Youssouf Fofana and Christopher Nkunku. They are joined by four other players who are absent through injury: Rafael Leao, Matteo Gabbia, Christian Pulisic and Santiago Gimenez.
The good news, however, is that Mario Gila is back available to the Portuguese coach. The defender, who joined Milan permanently from Lazio this summer, missed the two friendlies in Australia and Indonesia against Inter and Chelsea due to a muscular problem suffered during the friendly against Celtic on 25 July.
These are the players who have not been called up:
-
For transfer reasons
Christopher Nkunku
Youssouf Fofana
Fikayo Tomori
David Odogu
-
Through injury
Rafael Leao
Santiago Gimenez
Christian Pulisic
Matteo Gabbia
