From yesterday’s meeting between Ruben Amorim and Gerry Cardinale, it emerged not only that a list has been drawn up of the players who are no longer part of Milan’s project, but also that the club need to make further signings to strengthen the Rossoneri squad. So far, Milan have completed three additions: Mario Gila and Sankhoun Diawara in defence, and Gonçalo Ramos in attack.
In his article for today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport about Milan’s potential incoming transfers, journalist Marco Guidi also focused on the attacking midfield area, where the Rossoneri are looking for reinforcements:
“Several days ago, the Rossoneri already submitted an official proposal for the creative left-footed player so strongly requested by Amorim. It is Ethan Nwaneri, the 19-year-old Arsenal player, for whom Milan offered a loan deal with an option to buy for €40 million. The Gunners, however, have not considered Milan’s approach at this stage. The idea of Osorio from Midtjylland remains in the background, while in recent hours, the chances of Roma’s Soulé joining Milan have fallen significantly.”
