Yesterday, images of Christopher Nkunku at Linate Airport circulated on social media, sparking speculation that he was on the verge of leaving Milan. However, Fabrizio Romano has not confirmed this scenario, explaining on 'X' that the Frenchman is on his way out of Milan, but that negotiations with the clubs interested in signing him have only just begun.
There had also been rumours of possible interest from Barcelona in Nkunku as a replacement for Ferran Torres, who is set to join PSG. However, there are currently no negotiations between the Blaugrana and Milan, as relayed via Fabrizio Romano today.
The French forward is nevertheless expected to leave the Rossoneri before the end of the summer transfer window.
🚨 Christopher Nkunku left Milano on Friday but not due to any imminent transfer - negotiations have just started with clubs keen. No talks with Barça at all.
