Luca Diddi, a tactical expert, spoke to allMilan.it about the position of Samuel Chukwueze, the Nigerian winger at Milan:
“In my opinion, he is carving out an important role for himself. He is a player who is better suited to playing as a wing-back than as an attacking midfielder. As a No. 10, he is too chaotic, whereas in the other position, with more space available to him, he can really do well."
“If he learns the defensive side of the game, I think he could be an excellent alternative to what, in my view, should be a starter, who could obviously be Saelemaekers. It is unlikely that Amorim will let Chukwueze leave unless he has a valid alternative."
“He is proving to be an important player, an important option for Milan, and is justifying the investment made in him years ago. He has evolved as a player and also had a good experience in England. If he approaches things with this mentality, I think he can really do well.”
