After the impressive 2-1 victory over Torino, Rúben Amorim spoke to Sky Sport Italia. Here is what he had to say:
"I’m very happy. We saw one game for 75 minutes and then a different game towards the end. We did well to control the match. We were tired in the final stages, and perhaps I could have managed the substitutions better. Nevertheless, we played a good game.”
On Alphadjo Cissé:
"I like all of my players. There were certain details I saw from Cissé that I really liked. He is clever, he is always very attentive, and he is also losing weight after being out for a few months. I’m very happy for him, and not just because of the goal. In the first half, he almost looked like our most experienced player.”
On Fabio Capello, who was joining Sky’s coverage:
"I was a huge fan of Fabio Capello’s Milan. At first, there was some scepticism after Sacchi, but then Capello won everything and made history."
On defensive focus, Amorim commented:
"We are trying to defend higher up the pitch. At times, we lose track of our man in the box, and we also need to improve on set pieces. Towards the end, we were tired, there were a lot of opponents in the box and we took some risks, but we know we have to improve in many areas."
