The race for Rafael Leao has gained a new protagonist. Following Unai Emery’s push for Aston Villa, Victor Osimhen has also reportedly stepped in directly on behalf of Galatasaray.
According to Milan News, the Nigerian striker has personally contacted Leao with the aim of convincing him to choose Istanbul and the Turkish club’s project rather than move to the Premier League.
The attempt confirms just how highly Galatasaray regard the Portuguese forward as a priority target for the final stages of the transfer window. The final decision remains open, with Aston Villa and Galatasaray ready to make their final moves.
