Gerry Cardinale’s attitude towards Milan has changed completely. This is a fact, regardless of whether one agrees or disagrees with the moves, decisions and style of the Rossoneri owner. The RedBird chief has taken a much more hands-on approach to decision-making this year, with his statements also reaffirming that he is the top figure to whom everyone ultimately reports, including from an operational standpoint.
It is not just about the transfer market, management and his relationship with the staff: Gerry Cardinale has also significantly increased the number of visits he makes to Milanello and, more generally, to the team. This summer, he welcomed Amorim, introduced him, attended the team’s first gathering and several other training sessions. He was also with the squad in Turin and against Venezia, following the warm-up from the touchline and greeting the players one by one.
And this weekend, too, Cardinale will be alongside the team, as highlighted by Gazzetta dello Sport. He is expected at Milanello tomorrow for the final training session ahead of the match, while on Sunday he will be at the Stadium for the big clash against Juventus.
