Former Rossoneri player Fabio Capello spoke to Sky Sport about Milan and Juventus in the Europa League, as well as the 1989 European Cup won by the Rossoneri. Here are Capello’s comments.
Capello on Milan and Juventus in the Europa League
«They have strengthened. At Milan, there is something new in terms of their style of play due to Amorim’s demands, while at Juventus, Spalletti’s arrival represents a return after a period of adjustment. They have to reach the final; it would be very nice to see them both there.»
On the 1989 European Cup, lifted by Baresi:
«It is an emotional feeling to know that this is where the great Milan began, the Milan of the Invincibles, the team everyone dreamed of playing for. Seeing this Cup lifted by Baresi gives me goosebumps.»
