The Italian newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport' leads with the headline this morning:
"Chukwueze is the wildcard. Milan change shape with the Nigerian: Amorim has made his choice."
From the very first day he took charge of Milan, Ruben Amorim has made Samuel Chukwueze a central part of his project in an unfamiliar role, namely as a right wing-back, but the Nigerian immediately gave positive responses and has now become the starter in that position.

After his loan spell at Fulham last season, Samuel Chukwueze has been revitalised under the Portuguese coach, who changed Milan’s tactical set-up against Lecce partly to get the best out of the former Villarreal player.
In the last match before the international break, Amorim moved Mario Gila to right-back in order to give Chukwueze greater defensive cover and, above all, more freedom to operate. This means he has less defensive responsibility and can focus more on getting forward. This tactical change further confirms that the Portuguese coach is placing significant faith in the Nigerian.
