Milan continue to work ahead of the resumption of the league season, when the Rossoneri will face Sassuolo away from home. The match against the Neroverdi is scheduled for Sunday, 11 October at 18:00.
Amorim’s team trained this morning with all available players, with the exception of those called up by their respective national teams.
Alexis Saelemaekers picked up an injury in training and his ankle continues to hurt. The Belgian’s injury appears to be more serious than initially expected and the situation will therefore need to be reassessed. Saelemaekers will undergo further tests, but in the meantime he cannot train with the rest of the team.
At the moment, therefore, it is highly likely that he will not be available to Amorim for the match against Sassuolo.
As for Pervis Estupiñán's condition, Milan believe that it could be an injury that is not particularly serious. The Rossoneri have been in contact with Ecuador’s medical staff, but are awaiting the images from the tests carried out on the player today.
Estupiñán will undergo further checks once he returns to Italy. This was reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on his website.
