Markus Krösche has left Eintracht Frankfurt and made a farewell speech. The German executive is reportedly close to joining AC Milan. The latest update has arrived from Fabrizio Romano, the well-known Italian journalist, who had this to say on his YouTube channel:
"Regarding Milan, it is impossible not to talk about the arrival of Markus Krösche as the next Head of Football, which is getting very close. At this moment, it is not a done deal yet, but talks are very well advanced."

"Krösche, out of respect for Eintracht, first wanted to say his goodbyes and bid farewell to the German club. Krösche is now free, but there will still be discussions and negotiations regarding compensation to Eintracht. However, the Krösche era has come to an end, and so Milan are clearly now ready to take all the necessary steps to try to bring him to the Rossoneri.
Confidence in Amorim is increasing with the latest performances, and the idea of adding another piece, such as a Head of Football, a role that Milan have clearly been missing, shows the ambitions of the Rossoneri.
Looking ahead to the January transfer window, a defender remains the priority for the Rossoneri club. It was something Milan already wanted to do in the final days of the summer transfer window, and now they will try to sign one in January."
