Ardon Jashari, Milan midfielder, was interviewed by Sky Sport at the end of Udinese-Milan, a match that ended 0-2 in favour of the Rossoneri.
You seem like the kind of player who improves by playing regularly...
“I would definitely say so. Not only as far as I personally am concerned, but I think everyone can see and appreciate how much I am growing. With more playing time, I feel much more confident, my teammates also trust me more and more, and I am really happy about that. However, the most important thing, of course, is the victory: this is the first step in the right direction," as relayed via Milan News.
Jashari, you combined very well with Modric today...
“I think exactly the same. There is really a great understanding between us: we understand each other straight away. When he moves into a certain position, I go and cover him, and vice versa. Of course, I am certainly not the one who needs to teach Luka what to do on the pitch... Anyway, even when I am the one who moves, he always knows how to cover my back. I really enjoyed playing alongside him tonight. After all, we had already played a great match together last year against Como, so I am very happy: it is fantastic to play with him.”
How much have you already absorbed and made your own of coach Amorim's tactical philosophy?
“The coach has been fundamental for me from the very first day he was appointed Milan manager. From our very first phone call, he showed me that he knew me perfectly as a player. Then, step by step, he gave me more and more confidence, and I want to repay him by giving everything I have on the pitch and playing regularly, although he already knows that. I think he will be happy with what I did tonight, but as I said, this is only the beginning and a small part of what I am really capable of.”
