Olivier Giroud has been rumoured to join AC Milan, even after his contract extension at Chelsea.
The 34 year-old Frenchman who just added to his repertoire a Champions League trophy besides other important titles as well as the World Cup is highly coveted by Italian giants: the Rossoneri, led by directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.
According to the latest information reported in today's edition of the Turin-based daily newspaper Tuttosport, the entourage of Giroud are working with Milan to reach a total agreement. Then, there should be a meeting with Chelsea to claim the promise that the Blues gave which is to free Olivier from his contract if an offer from abroad arrives.
The striker gave the permission for his representatives to deal with Milan and Chelsea as he seems willing to make the move from the Premier League to Serie A football.
