AC Milan and Brescia will need more time to finalise the deal for the permanent move of Sandro Tonali to the San Siro.
Negotiations between the two Italian clubs are ongoing. Milan want to modify the conditions that were initially agreed upon for the buy-option of the player.
Milan have already paid 10 million euros for the loan and they should be paying 25 million euros more as per the agreement in the last summer. The said fee includes the fixed buy-out clause as well as the bonuses.
Maldini was able to get an initial agreement from Brescia last week thanks to introducing Giacomo Olzer into the deal in order to reduce the fees to be paid, and there should also be a 20% of a possible future resale of the player.
Milan, with Brescia, are evaluating the financial assessments, because of Covid-19's effects on club's economic health and also because Tonali did not have an extraordinary first season with the Red and Black.
As for the player himself, he is not planning to listen to other offers. The deadline of the initial agreement could go on beyond June 16 which is the deadline.
The idea is that, with a better discount and terms, Milan would be able to close the deal.
