AC Milan are focused on keeping pillars of the squad for the coming years by protecting their interests thanks to contract renewals. That way, the club does not lose important players on Bosman transfers.
After renewing Italian right-back Davide Calabria's deal, it is now Franck Kessié's turn to put pen to paper on a new agreement. His contract expires next year and the club cannot afford losing their midfield star.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, an agreement with the 24-year-old midfielder is close to being reached. The newspaper points out that there will be high figures in the contract, close to 6 million euros net.
Kessié has been a fundamental piece last season as he provided many goals and was a great midfielder, providing physicality and quality defensive techniques in the middle of the pitch.
