AC Milan had a great win against Cagliari at the San Siro last night which proved that Pioli's men have quality, personality and most importantly, clear ideas. The team was well organised thanks to coach Pioli's ideas which made La Gazzetta dello Sport reward the Italian tactician with a 7 rating.
Olivier Giroud was the man of the match as per the newspaper as he had a 7.5, a number shared with Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz who had an equally impressive game.
Then, the trio is followed by Davide Calabria, Rafael Leao, and Simon Kjaer with a 7 rating as they showed a solid and steady performance like usual.
Fikayo Tomori, Rade Krunic, Mike Maignan and Alexis Saelemaekers all shared the 6.5 mark with a decent performance.
Theo Hernandez was given a rating of 6 as he did not deliver the same performances that everyone was used to in the last season. Ante Rebic, Alessandro Florenzi, and Ismael Bennacer came on later in the game and only had a 6 without making much of an impact.
