After closing the transfer market window with 11 signings, AC Milan now have the task of keeping their star Franck Kessié in the team.
The Ivorian midfielder has a contract that expires at the end of the current season and the Rossoneri cannot afford to lose another starter for free after Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.
As pointed out by Corriere della Sera in today's edition, the initial request of the player and agent is 6 million euros. But, as weeks passed, now the demand is 7 million euros as fixed salary plus 1.5 million in bonuses.
The demand is too much for Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara who hope that the request will be lowered.
For Kessié's part, he has expressed that he is willing to stay with the club. But, there is not much progress so far. A solution will be sought in new contacts soon.
