AC Milan continued their winning ways yesterday thanks to a dominant and beautiful victory at the San Siro against SS Lazio who are coached by experienced tactician Maurizio Sarri.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, in today's edition, highlighted how much of a good game it was from Stefano Pioli's side and they suffocated Lazio's midfield and did not let the Biancocelesti apply the instructions of their coach.
The man of the match for AC Milan was Sandro Tonali who was extraordinarily impressive in the middle of the field, he recovered many balls, played with reat determination and eliminated the threat of Alberto Luis, the newspaper gave him a rating of 8.
Rafael Leao's hard translated into a goal, he was the first to score after a well-launched counter attack, he deserved his 7.5 rating as well as Ante Rebic who gave the two assists for both goals of the game.
Davide Calabria, Brahim Diaz, Alessio Romagnoli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all received a 7 as they showed strength, good positioning and great impacts from their own respective roles and position. The Swede legend in particular, was highly praised as he left his trace known quickly.
As for French goalkeeper Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Franck Kessié, Ismael Bennacer, and Alexis Saelemaekers, they all received a 6.5 for decent work against Lazio.
The least impressive player on the pitch, however, was Alessandro Florenzi, according to the same source, they awarded him a rating of 6.
Finally, coach Stefano Pioli has done some great work, managing all periods of the match quite well and had a rating of 8.
