AC Milan's attacking midfielder, Brahim Diaz, did not start the match against Spezia today. Instead, Daniel Maldini got the nod from the boss. He earned his chance and was rewarded with a great goal scored by a header.
Then, the former Real Madrid playmaker, Diaz, came on and secured the win for the Rossoneri. The 22-year-old star has said these words to the microphones of DAZN after the match:
"It's always a complicated game here because they (Spezia) play well in their stadium. We fought and played well with the ball. I'm very happy for everyone."
On his recent form:
"I feel good and I have faith in myself and in the whole team, this is important. The important thing is to do everything for the team. I can score even more goals."
On his growth with Sandro Tonali:
"We are talented players but the whole team has quality and talent. I'm not talking specifically but we are strong."
On the number 10 shirt and the dedicated chant:
"I like to take responsibility. I learned the chant because it belongs to a legend such as Kakà. The support from the fans is incredible."
