Fikayo Tomori is set to join AC Milan in the next few hours. His contract has already been deposited by the Rossoneri management to the Lega Serie A.
The arrival of Tomori is a good and much needed boost to Stefano Pioli in the defense. The injury of Mohamed Simakan has assisted the English defender to land in Milano. But, the French 20 year-old defender of Strasbourg, is not completely out of Milan's plans yet.
In fact, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Paolo Maldini could join in the transfer talks of Simakan and RB Leipzig in case the move to the Bundesliga fails. The Rossoneri's director will have to to reinforce the back-line in the summer given Duarte's exit and Musacchio's contract expiry.
