AC Milan management are evaluating the team and will make a few operations to keep it strong and balanced, that is by locking down the stars with new contracts and try to keep them happy and satisfied.
According to sources at Calciostyle.it, Franck Kessié's renewal is indeed a delicate matter for the club directors right now. The gap has been simply too big between the agent's demand and what Maldini is proposing. But, the player's representative has been left 'impressed' with Milan's latest offer, submitted by CEO Ivan Gazidis, which may force him to think seriously about it.
The source writes that Kessié is actually considering the new offer which is as follows: 4 million euros salary in 2022, 4.5 million in 2023, 5.5 million in 2024, 6.5 million in 2024 and 7.5 million euros in the last year of the contract. The parties shall meet soon to discuss further the details and see if an agreement can really be reached now.
As for Alessio Romagnoli, who is represented by Mino Raiola, he has accepeted an important salary reduction: 3.5 million euros reaching 4 million with bonuses, a deal that would run until June 2026.
Once these situations are resolved, AC Milan management: Ivan Gazidis, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will move forward to work on the deals of Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer and Rade Krunic. The Bosnian midfielder proves to be important and useful as a tactical solution for Pioli.
