Roberto Donadoni, former AC Milan player, gave an interview to Libero newspaper as the focus was on the Rossoneri's season:
"They are doing well in the standings and they are doing well on the market with important additions. Undoubtedly the conditions are all there to stay on top until the end."
"This remains a complicated championship between Covid and a lack of public, but Milan's first ranking is not accidental. The Rossoneri have been going at this pace since post lockdown, as demonstrated in this calendar year they have all the merits."
"A similarity with the 1999 Scudetto? They are very different eras to make comparisons. However, I would say that this Milan already comes from a very brilliant second part of last season. Pioli did a great job, but this year's base is different than Zaccheroni's one, it was rebuilt from scratch."
