La Gazzetta dello Sport focuses on the renewal front of AC Milan in today's edition. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have 5 contractual situations to deal with:
- Rafael Leao: the Portuguese is the closest to put pen to paper on a new deal. His contract expires in June 2024 and the new deadline will be until 2026 with a remarkable increase in salary. Currently, the former Sporting Lisbon and Lille player earns a yearly wage of 1.4 million euros. He will earn then 4 million euros net plus bonuses.
- Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer: For both these stars, the idea is to renew their deals also until 2026 just like Rafael Leao, as pointed out by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition. There is some differences between the offers and demands, but eventually there should be no major issues.
- Alessio Romagnoli: As for the captain, the club offers a renewal of 3.5 million until 2026, which is the same amount that he first was receiving at the beginning of the agreement signed in June 2018. Now, evaluations are underway.
- Sandro Tonali: There has been a meeting with the new agent of the young midfielder, Giuseppe Riso. It served to discuss the possibility of a new deal in the future.
