Speaking to Milan TV, Dida had a lot to say about his role in the club and his life at Milano without forgetting to talk about Mike Maignan, the first goalkeeper of Stefano Pioli's Rossoneri. Here are the Brazilian's statements:
"Life here is beautiful, a beautiful city, especially the centre. Milan welcomed me when I was young. The culture is completely different than in Brazil. And then playing for Milan was really enjoyable thanks also to its wonderful fans."
On his free time:
"I spend a lot of time with my family and when I go out I really like being with friends, playing soccer, padel, or going out to dinner with my children and my wife. This is my fun."
On his best friend as a footballer at Milan?
"I often went out with my compatriots, Serginho, Kakà, Digao, Cafù. Either for dinner or go out to the bar. Then on the plane to go away, we played a lot of Call of Duty games. Sometimes Seedorf also joined in these games. In any case, the important thing was to be all together."
On having to wake up early:
"As a footballer, I didn't like waking up early, I liked to sleep a little more. But now that I am part of Pioli's staff, I like waking up early and being among the first people to arrive to Milanello."
Dida on working with Mike Maignan and Stefano Pioli:
"Maignan is a boy with a huge desire to grow. He is aware that he can reach the top with work. I try to pass on everything that I have. Pioli? Stefano is someone who gives a lot for Milan and there is a lot to learn from him. Who knows, maybe I can become a coach too one day."
