AC Milan managing directors are thinking of the future already and are trying to build a strong squad that will be able to compete on a higher level next season. There has already been talk about some summer signings such as Sven Botman and Renato Sanches. However, we must also discuss the future of the loanees, like Alessandro Florenzi.
The 30-year-old Italian right-back signed on a loan deal to move to the San Siro after a loan spell at Paris Saint-Germain in the previous season. The former Valencia, Corotone, and AS Roma star has struggled in the beginning with AC Milan as he was deployed as right-winger. But, he has found his form in many other occasions as a right-back. He scored 1 goal, from a free-kick, in the 17 appearances he made with the club in the Serie A.
According to Nicolo Schira, Alessandro Florenzi would like to remain with the Rossoneri on a permanent transfer. His option to buy is set at 4.5 million euros. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will decide his future around April or May and could decide to ask for a discount to keep the experienced versatile Italian.
