AC Milan boss, Stefano Pioli, was not able to celebrate a win against Inter tonight as his side failed to capitalise on some important scoring opportunities. While the Rossoneri managed to limit the attacking threats of the Nerazzurri, a goal would have also been a huge boost for the red and black faithful.
The former Inter and Fiorentina coach spoke to Milan TV in this way:
"We approached the game well. We were aggressive and compact. We risked a little and created more chances. We deserved more, qualification remains open."
On the message to Ukraine:
"It was very emotional. Congratulations to our fans, they are special."
On Ismael Bennacer:
"The decisive moment of the season is coming, so we need everyone. Bennacer is growing, but the work of the whole team is fundamental."

On Ante Rebic:
"When a player is out for a long time he loses pace. But, sooner or later, it will come to him."
Pioli on building from the back:
"We wanted to build with six players dropping back because we knew that Inter would come high to press against us, thus leaving 4 versus 4 up front and then creating problems. We created chances, I expected certain situations. We created a lot and risked little."
On the match:
"The pace in the first half was very high, so I also made several changes. We could have made some better choices in some transitions, we certainly need to improve on this aspect."
