AC Milan want to reinforce the defensive area in Stefano Pioli's squad, especially in the event of the exit of Alessio Romagnoli. Sven Botman remains the top target for the Rossoneri directors in view of the summer transfer window, as per Milannews.it.

According to the report, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have chosen the former talent of Ajax since 6 months already now. Ideally, the Italians want to finalise the deal in the coming days. It seems that there is a pact between Maldini himself and Sven Botman for the transfer. But, an agreement is still not found with Lille which should be based at around 30 million euros at least.
Newcastle United for their part, remain hopeful in hijacking the deal and snatching Sven Botman from AC Milan's radar.
