AC Milan technical area director Paolo Maldini and his colleague Frederic Massara who is the director of sport have both of their contracts expiring in less than two weeks. But, there is ongoing work for their extensions which are reportedly very close (they may arrive this week).

The two directors are the architects of the team that won a Scudetto also with head coach Stefano Pioli. The daily Italy-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport report the words of club president Paolo Scaroni who insists that he has no doubts about the extensions of the two directors. But, the source do claim that the relationship between Paolo Maldini and Ivan Gazidis in particular is not an ideal one. For example, the legendary captain of Milan continues to push for Sven Botman. But, the CEO who is 'central in the technical choices' reiterates that 30 million euros is too much.
As for the transfer market window of this summer, the budget will be similar to the one spent in the previous summer.
