Speaking to DAZN, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has granted an interview to discuss the last Scudetto race which ended with the Rossoneri winning it. Here are his words:
"It was fascinating, a duel that inflamed the last season. For 70 minutes, in the opinion of even the most severe critics, we had shown that we were the winners of the second leg league derby and then we collected 7 points in 7 games. This is the raw analysis of a period that then influenced our path and final destiny. Milan were good at exploiting their positive trend, increasing certainty and awareness in what they were doing."
Marotta on the super cup won against Juventus:
"We did not imagine to overcome Juve, we overcame them with merit and we put a trophy in our cabinet."
