AC Milan youngster Lorenzo Colombo has joined Lecce a few days ago and is now in training with his new teammates as they prepare for the Serie A season.
In fact, the 20-year-old Italian player who is now there on loan with option to buy (and a buy-back clause is understood to be in place) participated in a friendly match against Rovereto. Lecce won 7-0 and the former Milan Primavera star scored a brace.
Pantaleo Corvino, technical director of Lecce, spoke to the media about the player and said the following after the game:
"We have to work in all departments, except the offensive one. I saw (Assane) Ceesay well blended with the team, capable of those accelerations we expected. Colombo, on the other hand, will be a nice discovery, we are in good shape up front. In the other departments, on the other hand, we have to intervene."
