Club Brugge's star Charles De Ketelaere will officially be an AC Milan player very soon as he is expected to land in Italy today. He will sign on a 5-year deal once he passes his medical examinations. His salary should be around 2.2 million euros net per season.

According to what is reported by Italy-based website Calciomercato.com, AC Milan are still considering a move to reinforce the defensive area in the squad of coach Stefano Pioli. But, the priority for Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara at the moment seems to be the central midfielder.
In that context, Renato Sanches remains at the top of the wishlist for the club directors. As per the source, a meeting with the Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes is already set to take place in the next few days. For the Portuguese, the Rossoneri and Lille have an agreement on the basis of 15 million million euros with bonuses included.
Paris Saint-Germain, for their part, remain in pole position to sign the player in question. But, the Serie A champions do not lose confidence in the race.
In any case, there is a plan B for the AC Milan management if Renato Sanches does not arrive. In fact, Aston Villa's 18-year-old English midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka is appreciated by the club.
