Udinese director, Pierpaolo Marino, has spoken to the microphones of DAZN about his team's loss against AC Milan at the San Siro and he commented on the penalty which Theo Hernandez earned in the first half. Here are his words:
"I am more than angry. In fact, I played football for many years and suffered in small and medium-sized teams for many years. I see that there are guidelines, they hold meetings after meetings and explain guidelines that are being disregarded. Mazzoleni's intervention at the VAR was beyond logic, Marinelli had seen an episode that had nothing of doubt: the penalty should not be of interest to VAR. It is a moment which affects the game. We get nervous with these decisions, it is an unbearable episode. I hope there are adequate clarifications. What do the players have to say on the pitch when they see the guidelines disregarded? I told Marinelli: 'We let the VAR decide the episodes that are not even doubtful'. For me this is not even a doubtful episode. I don't understand why he came back, in this case the VAR disturbs the referee and the game... I would have been curious to see what development the match would have taken without a penalty, it would have been much more complicated. We feel very damaged, but clarity never comes..."

Cry. Clear penalty
