The AC Milan managers want to try to add a midfielder and a central defense in the squad of Pioli and the names are 2: Raphael Onyedika and Abdou Diallo.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri seem to have found ideal reinforcements in these two profiles mentioned above, despite having multiple other names in their shortlist. But, these two are the favourites now.
Raphael Onyedika is a 21-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder of Danish outfit Midtjylland. His contract expires in Jun 2026. The Danish club values him at 7 million euros. The Rossoneri want to sign him but at different terms.
As for the defence, AC Milan are keen on signing someone who can replace Alessio Romagnoli and Abdou Diallo is liked a lot because he can play also as a left-back. The Milanese management, though, would like to have him on loan. Paris Saint-Germain, however, want to insert the buy-obligation in the deal while Milan only push for the option to buy. If Abdou Diallo arrives, then Matteo Gabbia will be shown the way out on a dry loan move to Sampdoria.
