AC Milan's Portuguese forward Rafael Leao whose contract expires in June 2024 is wanted by some important European clubs, reportedly. The player who is represented by Jorge Mendes is pursued by Premier League club Chelsea, as per The Times.
Club-to-club negotiations over the weekend have included the possibility of Milan taking one or more players from Chelsea’s senior squad as part of the deal. Chelsea are also being asked to structure the transfer in such a manner that Leão is relinquished of a substantial CAS-imposed fine he owes to former club Sporting, concludes the report.
