AC Milan have signed Malick Thiaw just recently from Schalke 04 on a permanent transfer in order to reinforce the defensive department of head coach Stefano Pioli. The German centre-back was brought in to replace Alessio Romagnoli and the fans are hoping he can add quality and strength to the lineup whenever he is called upon.
According to what is reported by The Athletic, Leicester were hoping to challenge for the signature of Schalke defender Malik Thiaw, but he has moved to AC Milan in a 10 million euros deal.
It is worthy to note that Leicester's central defender, Wesley Fofana, is close to joining Premier League outfit Chelsea, as per different reports, for a whopping fee of 82 million euros.
