AC Milan's former legendary coach, Arrigo Sacchi, has spoken about the Rossoneri win against Empoli this way to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"It must also be said that Milan had many absences, and they suffered. Then, there were injuries that perhaps messed up the plan a little bit. The fact is that the game was in balance."
The former Italian coach has also commented on Inter's defeat to Roma 2-1. Here are his words about that:
"At a certain pointn I asked myself: but will they do an action? Nothing could be seen, a defensive block on one side and a defensive block on the other. Not even the shadow of pressing. Both Inter and Roma defended with eight players. So, it is difficult for it to be a show. I believe neither of them would have deserved the victory. I really don't like certain games. Too many tactics, always very low rhythms."
Sacchi added:
"Both teams were waiting for the cue of the champion or the error of the opponent. Inzaghi and Mourinho are excellent tactics, but the public expects something more. Also because there was no lack of good players on the pitch, the game was missing."
