AC Milan head coach, Stefano Pioli, is hoping that his team can show the usual qualities even despite the many injuries. The tactician has spoken to Amazon Prime Video and said these words before kick-off:
"The quality of the opponent this evening is very high, but I still ask my team to play our football and try to control the game. It was certainly a surprise to see Chelsea lose against Dinamo Zagreb, then they changed coach and remain a great side who won the Champions League two years ago."
He added:
"This will be a good test for us against such a big European club. It will be a special match for Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori, who are important to us."
Pioli said the following about Leao:
"He is doing very well with us, I see him motivated and he must continue like this."
